| My name is Rebecca Leila and I am, debatably, fifteen years old. I live with two blood relatives and my dog who's named after the mountains in Nevada. I like sound, color, lighting through windows, dust, white lace, old books, hipbones, eyelashes, long roads in the summertime, violins, chilly nights, film, glow-in-the-dark stars, empty white walls, hourglasses, the smell of coffee beans, and taking pictures. I think red lips left from cherry popsicles are lovely, and so are the moving shadows on the wall when a car passes by my window. If I had one wish, it would be this: I wish to be alive.
